Translation and Intercultural Communication Group (TICG) in recent years has aimed at the follwing:

• Mapping audiovisual translation practices in the Iranian mediascape 
• Providing localized guidelines for Persian multimedia translation services
• Hosting academic events
• Publishing specialized journals
• Contributing to the pedagogy of translation between Persian and other active foreign languages in the Iranian context
